tapatalk slowing down forum from desktop?

The CalGuns forum has been slowing lately and I see the page waiting with "connecting to activate.tapatalk.com..." during every page load.

Why is tapatalk getting involved with Calguns on my desktop computer?

(Note: I do not have tapatalk on my phone either, so it is not connected to my CalGuns forum account in any way)

I just deleted tapatalk off my phone today. I can't stand the layout since the new updates. I get asked to log in like every 15 minutes and can't find a setting to change it anywhere. It also seems much slower on the phone since the updates.

A day or two ago I started getting the Tapatalk " get the app" page even time I open CGN with tablet ... It's never happened prior - but now it happens every time.

It's pretty annoying - as I have zero interest in using it... I just close the page and CGN comes up - but is there a way to prevent it from appearing every time?
