I have posted a couple guns for sale and purchased a few also - always with good results. However, for my latest sale, the individual that "called it" first lost out because he didn't get back to me.

He posted, "I'll take it." I got back to him very quickly and he said he would be available over the weekend. I sent him a couple messages with my phone # - never heard back.

The second individual was very responsive and I made the deal today. Just 10 minutes ago, #1 called me and said he could meet this weekend. Sorry, the gun has been sold.

My advice - if you want a firearm, don't make the seller wait. If you don't get back to me by the next day, I'm going to the next guy.

I gotta agree, I'm sure it upset #1 buyer, but hey, you gotta respond to people. Some folk think we are here to run on their timeframes, sorry but the world moves on, not around us. I've missed out on a few sales because the seller wanted to give #1 a chance. They end up waiting for the buyer to respond for days, then finally get back to me but I moved on and purchased something else, leaving the seller with NO buyer.
