Maybe separate Market section to Norcal and Socal

I think its great to separate the market place into Norcal and Socal so people can save time on browsing. Since most of the for sale don't happen to be shipped anyway.

BTW, it hurts me when I see a great deal or some very nice collection for sale but happens to be at Norcal !!!

Where is the dividing line? What about people in Central CA, can they post in both forums? What about sellers who are willing to ship? That will result in nearly as much clutter as there is now.

Like someone else said, if people post clearly location and whether or not they ship, problem solved.

There should be sub-sections for each chapter like the Calguns Community section.

And for those willing to drive or ship, a collective marketplace should still be available.

I think it should be mandatory to have location in the title. Even area code would be great to save characters.

Maybe a easy shipping abbr. too. Like WS=will ship or NS=no shipping.

It's not hard to make a seperate forum. It would be insanely hard to organize the existing posts though.

They put the location right after FS/FT. All we have to do is put

NC/SC/CC, then maybe city?

This, a thousand times this! 98% of the sellers don't want to ship so I don't see the point of the current ungainly system. Would love to hear from the proponents however, and then tally the actual number of deals done via shipping or out of the area. Seems like you could just make a separate sub-forum for 'will ship' ads and then allow cross-posts to it.
