    Improve Training Announcement Forum

    I'd like to see the training announcements separated into region subforums .. identifying regions is always a challenge here, but at least North, Central & South CA.

    And enforce some structure in the title contents. At least require: "Location", "Class Name", "Date" as the title. (I see some annual schedules and those are fine). 17 of the first 50 threads in training announcements do not include a location .. no one wants to open all of them to see if there are a couple in their area.

    I'd also like to see a sticky listing all of the registered training vendors. Maybe just their name and link to their website.

    Agreed. At a minimum, I would like to see Norcal/Socal. If not, then at least force the subject line to start with the location. Even if only a zip code...

      I'm not sure more sections is the answer, but I just wanted to point out that anyone who can start a thread in either training announcement section is a registered vendor. We don't do vendor lists, wouldn't really be a good place to put it. I can put a sticky in the sections with some suggestions for thread titling, but I doubt anyone will moderate titles. It would be one of those things, if people want to get more attention for their posts, they will add more details.
