    Split litigation and discussion forum?

Okay, I realize it is hard enough as it is for the volunteers that maintain the site, but I am thinking that splitting "Litigation and discussion" into "Litigation" and "Discussion of litigation" might be a good thing.

I, for one, am tired of having to paw through dozens of posts just to find out that there hasn't been any litigation update.

So if you just want to know what the status of any litigation is, you would go to the "Litigation" forum - and all you would see would be litigation updates.

If you are more interested in the pontification, discussion, name calling, and arguments surrounding the litigation - then you would go to the "Litigation discussion" forum.

    Thoughts?

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Excellent idea; I would suggest the litigation section be called "Litigation Status" so it's purpose can be clearly understand. Also, posting on the litigation section should only be allowed by certain posters; Librarian and CMonfont immediately come to mind, of course. I wouldn't mind if the scope of this section was expanded just a little to include some of Chuck's commentary, should he decide to share with us. But everything should go into litigation endless debate.
