    Location...

I know this topic has come up before, but how about sellers be required to put their location in the title???? I don't know how many times I'll read through a for sale ad only to find the seller is way out of my area. That gets frustrating and I've heard lots of other members complain about this.

    Whatta ya think?

If they just put it in their user profile, it wouldn't be a problem. I can understand being a little paranoid, but if you say "SF bay area" or "LA County", I doubt anyone could pick them out of a crowd

Exactly! Just the county they're in in the title would be a huge help!!!

I've been noticing this a lot, and it's not just new members.

No location in the title, in their info, or anywhere in the ad.

I've also been seeing multiple ads from the same members, selling one item in each ad.

People just don't have time to read rules anymore.

I posted a thread about this not too long ago and it was completely ignored by admins and users alike.

When they revamped the site/ forum/ forum sections a couple months ago, they made an automatic template for the for sale ad titles that was "item/ location/ will ship or won't ship."
The intentions were, as I assume, for people to replace the variables with their constants. Obviously people don't follow every rule and not only that, but have a look around the for sale forums for all the threads where people haven't changed the title template at all. Apparently it's too hard to disqualify the template as a title for new threads. Tons of threads titled: "item/ location/ will ship or won't ship."
