    Retro forum

    Calguns could use one.

    I have been noticing a lot of members here either have one, are building one, or are interested in taking on a retro project.

    I am just about finished with an A1 clone myself, and members here were a huge help with finding parts.

    It would be convenient if we had a sub-forum dedicated to retro rifles where we can discuss the various retro models, sources for original parts, local shops that do custom engraving, etc.

    I realize there are other forums that have pretty active retro sections, but not everyone has accounts on those forums.

    Please consider this, thanks!

      A lot of the retro parts are difficult to find online because they're not en vogue at the moment.

      Obama ended the gun control debate when he decided to arm the Syrian rebels with fully automatic machine guns and rocket launchers. He proved people need guns to protect themselves from tyranny. Did he give the rebels background checks before giving them real assault weapons?

              The only pic I have, this was a mock up after I milled the lower:



              Lower is currently being anodized, should have it back this week.

              Everything is original Colt except for the lower and the barrel.

                  Agreed. We should have a general retro subforum- covering old school AR's, old FAL parts kits, shotguns, Remington M40's, M1's, etc.
