Setting 1.1 as default?

As part of the effort to optimize and streamline CGN to deal with the recent slow downs and crashes due to a huge spike in traffic and new members I have set the default style for the forum back to the more vanilla original (1.0) style.

The 1.1 style is somewhat more server intensive do to many of the plug-ins and social media links/tie-ins. I am hoping that by minimizing these various plug-ins and links we can lessen the load on both the app server and the db server.

If you really like the 1.1 skin it is still available by scrolling down to the lower left corner of the page and using the style selector.

Kes, is there a way for user to set 1.1 as default? 1.0 is generally no problem - but I can't use some of the text editing features... I've been manually changing it as needed, but wondering if there's a way to set as default?

BTW, site has been running great for the last several months! (I hope I didn't jinx it)

Default for everyone? or new accounts?
Or for your account?
If you mean you account then there is a drop down in the bottom left to change it.
Or in your User CP found in the upper right.
