For the record...
Luke 22, verse 36;-38 Jesus told his disciples to arm themselves for the persecution ahead.
If this was written today, it would imply Jesus is in favor of ones right of self defense and to bear arms.He told them to sell whatever they had to get a sword.
Who would know better than JC when talking about the hearts and souls of those who want to harm us.
As for him not liking L.A., someone asked him why he hung out with whores & drunks at a party once and he said " Do healthy people need a doctor?" He would probably live in LA of SF if his life took place present day...
By the way, last time I checked, God allows the masses to elect their representatives who make up the laws that erode our ability to protect ourselves.
People who don't know the Bible don't know the advice given when Israel wanted their first king. God warned the people how messy life gets when we let men not God rule us.
If you live where you cant get a permit,move to a shall issue county or better, a state where your right to defend yourself is law, these states do exist...
Remember, Jesus let his own kill him, He lets it all happen or it wouldn't be called free will.
