Solution to Gun Control & US Job Problems...

If our precious lawmakers want to solve two problems in the US there is a answer...
Ban the import of killer guns like glock and beretta guns and all foreign killer guns of choice to killers.

Let our guns be made by US workers from Ruger S&W Remington.

This may be a issue for corrupt Senators and Generals who take money from Euro gun makers...

Lets be real. Jobs and Gun control could be related and decent!

i believe the magazines that come standard with some ruger pistols are made in italy. since there are any number of quality domestic magazine manufacturers ruger could have contracted with, i assume this is a cost issue. doubtless there are further such examples among u.s. arms manufacturers.

the point is, if we enact these kinds of trade barriers, the cost of shooting in the u.s. would probably go up. not saying that to argue against the idea, but to point out a likely unintended consequence.

Who's going to buy the AK47s from Russia, if we don't.

but all the US made guns suck. Even Sig (my favorite) sucks now that it's made in the US.

Government regulations to ban certain imports is the wrong way to solve a job crisis. In fact, government regulations have made it too expensive to hire domestically. If you want jobs, let the free market settle it out. If employers have to pay crazy amounts of taxes(penalties) on employment and provide certain benefits, then they'll just outsource. Before all of these current regulations, the U.S. produced very high quality products at low cost. You don't support gun bans, yet you support bans on imports...

Some Brownings are made in Japan and Belgium, and some Glocks are made here you shouldn't single companies out just by name.

How about we just allow the good stuff back in from china?

The line between foreign vs domestic guns is increasingly blurred... For example, my Springfield XD-9 is made in Croatia, but the distributor Springfield Armory is based out of Illinois

I would probably buy a Ford 1911, but an obama motors 1911? Never. You made my day...

ETA, I think S&W makes transmission parts for GM.

I see every AK-47 sold here in the US as a AK-47 not sold to a potential enemy of the US. So buy an AK-47 to save the children of the world.
