^^^Packaging salesmen should get a subforum too.
(I think LEO and Military get a subforum because they carry guns in their line of work)"Let criminals out. Let illegals in. Let boys in the girls bathrooms. Condemn police officers. Abort babies. Pervert the children. Condemn Christians. Accept barbarity in the name of Islam. Overtax the hard working people. Coddle the lazy. That's the liberal way." -from a posting on "Yahoo" -

EMT lurker here. Sorry, I can't see it happening. The LEO section makes sense considering this a firearms forum and their job involves firearms. Our line of business, not so much. It would just end up being a subforum of people talking about guns...except they're EMS/fire. Not much different from other forums. Why not just start a thread for EMS/fire and have it be a catch-all megathread?Comment

There are plenty of EMT's/Medics/FF that carry. Arson Investigators come to mind. A new subforum because there are plenty of subjects to covers besides just guns, Just like how LEO section isn't strict talk about firearms... A place where members can ask questions to us in EMS/Fire to those who do this for a living.Comment

The focal point of each subforum is firearms first, then how each group has special rules/discussions related to firearms. As is, I know of no EMS personnel in my surrounding counties that carry firearms on duty and I'm doubtful that is an isolated case. I'm not that I'm saying I do not believe you, I'm stating that I feel your situation is a rare one.
Because of the lack of a distinct connection between firearms and EMS/fire, I do not see the need to create a forum specifically for EMS/fire related firearms discussion. EMS/fire discussion or questions about the line of work from other members could easily be fielded in a thread, rather than a subforum.Comment
