I wrote to George Miller, representative for Contra Costa, but how can i write to over representatives in different counties. I have tried writing to Loni Hancock of Berkeley but am unable to send it as she is not my local representative, whats the point of that we should be able to write to all the people who are out to get us.Comment

Are you going to cry? I hope you mar your weapon when you assemble that over priced zombie lower you purchased! Did you just get into firearms in the past few months?precisely my point. you are child with way too much time on your hands. "i'm not trying to pick a fight" . . . followed by an insult. seriously dude, how old are you? it's my fault the government is responding to a serious problem in our country. are they overdoing it? absolutely. are they providing straw man arguments to do so? without question. is there a problem with firearm violence in our country? i would say so. what is being proposed is undoubtedly over the top and certainly tramples constitutional rights. this, however, does not mean the topic being addressed is without merit. i agree that action needs to be taken and, as a mental health professional, i'm aware that there are many folks who fly under the radar and are able to procure deadly weapons when they absolutely have no business owning one. that being said, we can disagree on politics, you can blame me, you can blame the party, you can do whatever you feel to be proper. i simply encourage you grow up a little bit and learn that one is not representative of all, that is never the case. i vote how i vote and will continue to support platforms that i feel are valuable and important. you can't always have it both ways and it is what it is. i've written my letters and have no more time for you but it is sad that you feel the need to sling mud and sh#t on another proud gun owner and 2A advocate.Last edited by keoni_taylor; 02-09-2013, 2:33 PM.Comment

you're an angry dude and i feel bad for you . . . i believe that guys like you should probably wind up on a federal weapons ban list. unfortunately in politics we have no say in primaries for the most part so we are both presented with extreme candidates in many circumstances. we all do the best we can to follow our moral compass and some of us feel the need to be unkind and resort to name calling when we get frustrated (much like in pre-school). nevertheless, never let an angry man sway you from your calm foundation. i'm sorry you have to walk through the world like that and i'm also sorry people from my party are presenting such drastic and horrible proposals related to our firearms rights. i hope you see you fight is a little bigger than me. i really don't have the time to keep up with you fellas any longer so spew away . . . and enjoy.Comment

People, you NEED to know who your politicians are.
Your *STATE* Senators are NOT Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer. They are your US Senators.
Your STATE Senators are the ones who need to hear from you on this issue. They are the ones who represent you in the California State Legislature.Comment

Not going to sugar coat the reality but some here do have a very real point.
No one who voted Democrat or is a Liberal in this state has any ground to stand on when it comes in preserving/defending 2'nd amendment right.
If anything, you are precisely why CA is such a backwards state on this issue and it only gets worst.Comment

Dems In Office Shouldn't Get Complacent!
I've lived in California all of my life and I've voted mostly Dem because I haven't wanted anyone telling me what to do with my body or my religious beliefs. I do support reasonable gun control measures like background checks and I believe that we have to get the guns out of the hands of the crazies and the criminals. In my opinion however, the Dems have really overreached and they are now proposing laws that will effect my 2nd Amendment right to defend myself. I have already written Diane Feinstein and I will write to my other Congress Critters as well and let them know that they shouldn't get too complacent. People who have voted for them in the past can and will vote against them in the next election unless they seriously change their approach. As a person who takes my gun ownership
responsibilities seriously and has done nothing wrong, I refuse to give up my rights so that some self serving elected official can make themselves look good.

Not sure if this has been posted, the link below on the Ruger website helps if you don't have time to write or call. I've done this as well as calling, writing, etc.
