    conspiracy 'stuff'

Noticed a ton of people are into conspiracy theories on this board, frankly the arguing between the pro vs. con on this subject is making it very difficult to have any intelligent evidence based discussion in a variety of threads.

Why don't we limit conspiracy talk to 'off-topic' only since they have nothing to do with reality which is what 'most' of us rational people would like to discuss. Not trying to eliminate their view point they are still entitled to it, but unless you want this website to be more about conspiracies than firearms something needs to be done.

I couldn't agree more. Even worse, is even if they are right and it is a conspiracy, they're wrong.

We SHOULD have a conversation of how to improve school safety against these lunatics.

IMO all these conspiracy threads are becoming truth these days. Thank the Obama admin for that.

I have seen an increase with a lot of new people on here in the last year or so. I also have my suspicions about what age group most of those constantly espousing it are in.

Its always been in the background, and we had some well known individuals on here that professed it in the past, but yes it is distracting how it now creeps into everything and of course it attempts to shake against logic in trade with shadows to which one cannot openly debate on, which makes some conversations just plain silly.

It is tiring, it is also a sad commentary.

What this is about is whether this is to be a firearms website , or a conspiracy website that prevents discussions about reality. People ultimately have the right to believe whatever they want , what this is about is if we are gonna let the conspiracy people ruin the credibility of this website.

We are very close to loosing the 2nd amendment for all functional purposes, if we allow 'pro-conspiracy' people to have a louder voice than us that prefer science and rational thought, than all we do is allow those that have irrational fears of 'objects' ....guns..... to write us all off as tin foil hat conspiracy fans.

Pretty sure from listening to Alex Jones that he is pro-firearm , kinda doubt conspiracy enthusiasts have to come here with their theories. I am not trying to shut everybody up that see's things differently all i am saying is keep it in one section.

In all honesty, I agree. This site should be more about the realities that are eroding away, which is our 2nd Amendment rights. Sad but true.

Pretty narcissistic and bigoted no? Deciding that conspiracy theories have nothing to do with reality is a sign of a closed mind that is willing to accept whatever the mainstream media and wave of thought happens to be at the moment. A few days into Benghazi it was nothing more than a conspiracy that the death of our people had little to do with a Youtube video. After Benghazi if you do not question the official government explanation you have shown that you have little capacity for critical thought. Wake up. If you want to talk firearms go to the firearms forums and if you want to question and think critically about the unprecedented exchange of civil liberties for false security that is currently underway then go to the forums discussing current events and government responses simple as that. If you think that everything that cnn, msnbc, and even fox news puts out there is reality and nothing but the truth I can't help you.

Saying you want to banish all talk that does not fit with your vision of reality to the "off-topic" forum is pretty intolerant and even hateful. Saying they have a right to their opinion is nothing but a token gesture after in effect trying to silence any questioning of the official story in all forums except "off-topic." These aren't alien conspiracies that we are talking about here it's things that have had enough inconsistencies that people question them. Fortunately an attempt to banish all "conspiracy talk" to off-topic will fail so it won't even be attempted. We can't even get a norcal sale forum or people to write down where the item they are selling is located in the marketplace forum after numerous requests here to I will enjoy seeing the "conspiracy talk" continue outside of "off-topic." To all a goodnight.

ya i am expecting the pro conspiracy crowd to take shots at me and that is fine. I got my point across and if people wanna label me go right ahead, but a few of your are totally missing the point, 'the arguing' in a ton of threads between pro vs. con on this subject is making it impossible to have a conversation that is just about Firearms without the conspiracy stuff getting dragged in.

Saying i am awful cause i wanna keep it in one section is laughable i wouldn't care if the pro conspiracy crowd had several sections all to themselves and each person go their own customizable theme music.

it's becoming super difficult to have any normal rational conversation on any subject on these boards now without conspiracy theories popping up and then the arguing starts. If i am a bad guy cause i don't want conspiracy theories to drown out any type of discussion than fine every moderator on the internet that moves a topic to another section is enacting some type of internet 'jim crow' laws and sorry that also is a major exaggeration. Not to mention the conspracy crowd all you have to do is suggest there might be a lack of credibility with some of the grandiose ideas not backed by a shred of evidence, and then claws come out and they engage in personal attacks.

If people think my ideas online are stupid super that is their right, I don't accuse people of being sheeple or pawns of the media etc. In short you conspiracy people can't get along with anyone other than yourselves , you are the problem not us.

This thread was two lines below yours when I clicked "new posts" and, IMO, the reason why we must question everything.
