Email notifications to Microsoft Free Email Accounts delayed by Microsoft.

As some of you know and have already reported.

Microsoft claims that "too many emails" are being sent from calguns.net to any Microsoft owned email address.

If you are:

at hotmail com
at live com
at msn com

Your email notifications are being delayed on purpose by Microsoft, we've opened and escalated as many tickets to as many Microsoft Support organizations as possible but so far - they keep saying they're working on the issue - but don't appear to be solving the problem.

About the only thing I can recommend if you are on a Microsoft owned Email account is... You should consider Google's Email, or Yahoo's Email services for your free account.

I'm getting plenty of notifications - but they seem to be daily or weekly - this would make sense based on your info, except that I get them every morning around 05:00 (all at once)...

I have my CalGuns accnt set for instant notification - so I would think that if it was a Microsoft issue, I'd be receiving email notifications throughout the day, albeit delayed... instead of daily at the same time every day.

WoW! Weirdest thing ever... as of 10:13 (literally 1 minute after my previous post here), I started getting instant email notifications of new posts (from several threads)...

that's the biggest coincidence I've ever encountered... oh well, I'm glad it's back to normal

hahaha... and I was just about to come here and say... the *cough* several thousand email notifications in queue - are finally being accepted by Microsoft.

We received notification from 3 different escalated tickets this morning ( after 10 days ) , that after review - they are significantly increasing the # of allowed emails per day.
