Off Topic forum posting need clarification

I have seen posts get moved by a mod to the "OT" forum that are clearly gun topic related. The description for the Off Topic forum states it is for non-gun related topics. Just saw one moved thee that is about the LTC shooter at the internet cafe. The discussion about that story was gun related.

Can someone change the description of the OT forum to better state what actually should be posted there?

I think it has to deal with where the discussion is likely to go. Just like the theater shooting, technically gun related but its in the off topic section because its more news related.

actually the 2-a forum should be changed to read the ca 2-a forum as most topics that are placed there but have no connection to california get moved anyway to either off topic or some other place
