"3D and homemade guns will be evaluated for value..."
By whom? And are they experienced enough to determine that value?

Those 3D guns I've been making by the hundreds and handing out on Halloween to Trick-or-Treaters and in trade for sugar to my neighbors are at least worth the $300 each - I put my heart and soul into those beauties! Not to mention the cost of the 3D printer, jigs, Glock slides, Glock switches, and other parts!

      I want a certified appraiser!

Better yet, I DEMAND to speak to the manager!!

If they're truly intent on making our streets safer.... they should have orchestrated an ICE raid at the 'buy back.'

Earlier this year here in TX, these "buy back" schemes were rightfully banned and from taking taxpayer dollars to fund them.

HB 3053: Prohibiting Local Government Firearm Buyback Programs

HB 3053, authored by Representative Virdell during the 89th Texas Legislature, prohibits municipalities and counties from organizing, sponsoring, or participating in firearm buyback programs.

These programs, often promoted as tools for reducing gun violence, use public funds to purchase firearms from private citizens—frequently with no questions asked and no meaningful impact on crime. HB 3053 ensures that taxpayer dollars are not used to disarm law-abiding Texans under the guise of “safety.”

The bill explicitly bars local governments from using public resources to conduct any initiative aimed at:
                  • Reducing the number of civilian-owned firearms,
                  • Removing firearms from circulation,
                  • Encouraging the anonymous surrender of lawfully owned firearms.

By passing HB 3053, Texas is standing strong against symbolic anti-gun efforts and reaffirming that disarmament schemes have no place in our communities. Instead of wasting resources on failed policies, our focus must remain on upholding the rights of law-abiding citizens and addressing crime through effective law enforcement.

Of course, but only if you trust the government.

I wouldn't be suprised if there was a license plate reader somewhere nearby when these happen.

I actually went to that and scored $1000 in amazon gift cards. The buyback was surprisingly busy. I had to wait in line for a while.
