I'd like a feature where newbies are restricted to a newbie forum for their 1st 20 posts. It seems to me like the new guys are getting stupider than before. Many ask questions, and post stuff that should not be posted. Plus they try and criticize us.

Rather than appear hostile and making them feel unwelcome, just demonstrate a bit of patience and answer their 'stupid' questions. Or, ignore them.
Each Newbie is an opportunity to add another voice / vote to our side of the 2nd Amendment argument. Look at them as an asset to be developed and not just an impediment to your leisure-time hobby.People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.
