suggestion for pictures (IMG bbcode)

hi guys,

Other forums enable a GREAT feature that auto-resize pictures to whatever screen resolution the user has on their machine. This ensures that even if someone uploads a 3000x2000 pixel photo then links to it via [img][/img] bbcode, it shows up 100% on the screen without scrolling.

click on the pic and it'll show at full resolution.

example of photos that show just way too large to be practical.

Fills my browser perfectly top to bottom and only goes a little over half way across.

Isn't everyone running 1920x1080 or better these days?

agreed, auto-resizing would be nice. and i browse this site mainly on a netbook now or smartphone.

1440 x 900 - laptop. Besides out of focus, that one is somewhat too big for me.

Perhaps one of the mods could rename the thread title to "suggestion for picture size (IMG bbcode)" so that people don't get confused about the blurry image and focus on the real suggestion which is an image-autosize feature.

I'm not able to make the correction myself.
