The problem with current events is theres usually like 2 subtopics which it can be placed in. The VA-TECH shooter was posted multiple times by multiple people on multiple forum categories.
Even important OLL arguments get lost in 3-4 posts of "wow thats great, heres my idea" 5 posts of "but that won't solve this" 10 posts of "but it will this" and 5 posts of flame arguments with 3 posts of mods saying "KEEP IT CLEAN".
Perhaps a secondary topic for major current events. Like new OLL case breakthroughs. As for an argument about the 2nd amendment category being destroy.... i always figured the 2nd ammendment category was for questions regarding gun laws.
This way... we won't have repeat posts. We all would already know to check the current events.
To which current events when they die down could possibly be placed in archived stuff, moved to a diff category or just left to rot.
