Im not sure if it should go here or not, or maybe has been discussed already. I did search for "beta" and didnt see it. So we went from 2.0 beta to 1.1.... But I like it. "brought to you today by..." so i assume the ad will be up for the day? or is it hourly? today's sponsor is Gunpal... I like this layout. I like the transparency or i guess opaqueness.

If I could even confirm it's existence, I'd say we're still working on it a lot. That said, how much does it rule? If it exists at all that is. Which it doesn't...

is it just the browser im using, or is it really hard for other ppl to see the text in the upper right corner too (user name, pm's, new posts, user cp, log out)?

Nice. Might need to tweak the text colors in the upper right corner a bit. The grey to white gradient leaves some of those words a bit hard to read.

if you want to check it out, just scroll down to the very bottom of the forum. in the bottom left corner where it says "default style", just changed that to "Calguns 1.1 Beta".

SWEET looking screen

Before the final version try and either add a 'home' button or have the CG header at the top lead back to the main forum index. As of now the only real way to go back is to follow the bread crumbs backward.

I know it is only a beta, but I really like the new header. The transparency in the CG and GP logos look great.

The ads will probably be the most difficult to deal with. Of course they will need to be reformatted to fit the current space.
Price to advertise may become an issue, who gets what spots, do they rotate, how often etc. Is there a set limit of advertisers , how to add more space when more people want to advertise ETC.

All issues that I'm sure are being worked out. Looks good and look forward to seeing the final version!
