They're alright.
I think the only thing that would really bug me are pop ups, Pop under, and redirects that get used sometimes in other forums.

Actually they are suppose to be on the right hand side as a column.

I've got them working perfectly on a vBulletin test install but here the darn things are dropping to the center bottom!

Send it to the bottom, please. Bottom one was ok with me, but side ones tend to screw with my post reading, at least that's my opinion.
