On the Private Firearms For Sale forum, have you considered deleting about 700 pages? What's the purpose of having all those old threads/postings? It seems to create some confusion when a 2 year old post is bummed to the top. If an item hasn't sold in several months it probably should be reposted with current/revised information anyway.

Also, any chance of categorizing the posts either by location or type of firearm? It would help people to find a particular item more efficiently and perhaps expedite transactions.

If the sellers leave the item, description, and price intact, it allows a seller about to post an item for sale the opportunity to do market research for pricing. Unfortunately, many sellers delete the price, substituting "SPF", or delete OPs entirely.

I like the historical data, to see commoness, past values, Prefer to keep please

The historical info is nice to look back on.

The rating system links back to the sale post, which I like as it helps some to surmise what the preferences are of some buyers or what firearms a seller might have to sell in the future.

Some might squawk if their post counts dropped hundreds or even thousands if 700 pages of posts were deleted.

Usually the default "days" of threads viewable is small enough to not cause the issue, so if someone replied to an 2 year old post, they had to make the special effort to do so.
