Quick question thread.

So I was thinking, I don't know if its been brought up, but how about a quick question thread in some sections?

Instead of starting a thread and waiting around for replies, you ask a quick one. Hopefully someone in that section is around to answer.

It would knock out useless threads for simple questions. Not putting down any threads at all. Just saying some subjects have been beaten to pulp.

This way if anyone needs a quick answer, e.g. price checking, quick responses ( I know sometimes I wish I had an answer right there on the spot, instead of starting a thread).

Just a thought. How about it?

I second the idea, I often have quick questions, or need a link, date, etc, and the 1st poster had it. Maybe something similar to a chat room maybe, but more sophisticated then the one on the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the support ANDREWMENDEZ, RossRinSD, Librarian. I know this would be a cool idea.

Kind of like the chatbox, but quicker. Also kind of like the tan, but strictly for questions that just shouldn't be threads. Hence quick question thread, or threads?

Sometimes I have a question and I just don't want to start that thread. You know?

What section should it be? General gun discussion? Should there be multiple? Should we start it and see if it succeeds?

Just saying...
