Today I am purchasing the vBulletin Pro Install service for the latest version as well as several months phone and ticket support.
This way if something goes haywire the people writing the code are the ones who will have to figure it out.

During the update the forums will be closed here however the Calguns.org forum is on a different server and different software so it will be up and open and I'll post updates there after the update starts.

Once you purchase the upgrade service you will need to enter the Member's Area at https://members.vbulletin.com to fill out the Worksheet located under the License Details & Options section.
The Worksheet asks for server access and permissions related information so that your new software can be uploaded and installed.
Once that form is filled out and submitted correctly, the installation/upgrade enters our queue.
Pro Installs/Upgrade are assigned in the order they are received and depending on the size of the queue, it can take up to 7 business days before a support team members claims your Install/Upgrade (depending on the number of other requests in the queue and their complexity).
Once someone contacts you, they will arrange a suitable day/time to perform the upgrade.
