That could be viewed as a feature rather than a bug.

        Cannot change my password

I had to reset my password and was able to login. When I tried to change my password, it wanted me to login again, but the reset password does not work.

Old problem - see this 2013 thread.

Partially because iTrader runs on vBulletin 3 and that's long out of technical support. (And it is not a part of VB). There's nobody to report that bug to. See this 2018 post from Kestryll.

And partially, now, because Calguns has a planned migration to vBulletin 5, the supported version (at least, that is the last plan I heard) and getting iTrader or some compatible capability that might retain history, to run there is higher priority.

And yet again partially because it's a trivial work-around (I'll grant, need for a work around is annoying) and it's documented in two thread titles in this forum and one in the "Account Issues ..." forum, and a total of 8 threads in this forum. And there are two threads, 2019 and 2020, with the work-around in the title in General Guns, and another thread from 2019 in Marketplace for handguns.

Despite years of contrary experience, I still believe in FAQ threads.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I'm still getting the same intermittent Calguns Data Base error message when posting.

I'm still also not able to advance any threads. Although the replies are visible in the post, the replies do not bump the thread and do not show in the replies counter. Makes my marketplace posts almost useless after time.

            Can this be fixed please?

Yeah this has been an issue ever since I joined the forum and it still has not been fixed, even with the new host and update

                    Can't log in, sort of

Right after the new server went live, I had trouble logging in. It looked like I was, but navigating various pages I would soon not be logged in. Some sort of pixy dust was sprinkled and it worked, but cleared cookies on my desktop and its doing it again. Got any more pixie dust? Thanks.

Working now- I made no changes. Thanks for the fix.

                        Log-in not working

I cant seem to log in. When I log-in it accept the the username and password and says welcome, but then goes to the home screen and I'm not logged in and cant access Off topic for example. What is off is it shows I am logged into this page in the upper right screen as I type this question.

I have deleted browser history etc. Any suggestions?

Same deal I had yesterday. Some places it would have me logged in, other pages not. Whatever they did for me sounds like it will work for you.

I still need to use MS EDGE to log on most of the time. Vivaldi and Firefox usually do not allow me to log on and post. I can see my PMs though.

I'd much prefer to use a more secure browser. This need to be fixed. Given the subject matter of this forum using browsers that record and report every word is a bad idea.

Which browsers do this? Which don't?
