    Legal discussion clean up

Alright, this isn't my first rodeo here.

My suggestion is simple. Every legal case has 2 threads. One for strictly updates on the case. The second thread for discussion.

Example, the current Bonta vs. Miller thread is an absolute **** show of blathering including Nazis helping create our space program after WWII.

The legal discussion section needs to be a bit more focused.

Obviously, I have historically spent most of my time here ****ing about in OT and stalking the invisible humor forum for special members. I'm not trying to demand Nazi like moderation. Members should be able to discuss cases and if the conversation winds up us harboring Nazi party members to win the moon race. Whatever.

Mr. Rabbit can simply repeat the inner mysteries of the Heller decision, (with his mantra of have you read it?) for eternity and Fabio can ridicule gun rights organizations and their legal acumen all he wants.

Is he still around trolling? I don't recall seeing him of late.

Can we just please have a specific thread that only certain trusted members can post updates for important cases?

I've been waiting a very long time for these cases and I want to use calguns to stay on top of them. For nostalgia sake.

But the Nazis did help create our space program after WWII.

I agree, the problem is one user posts a thread then another user may have missed that particular thread and continues to post another thread about the same thing .

Right; there are differing judgements on what might go where.

So, what I have tried to do is take over the thread-starting post and put in actions, dates, and links to the docs. Only the original poster or a mod can edit those posts.

But I don't haunt PACER or regularly run through cases; I'll happily repost such development notes if someone tells me about them. Sometimes that also needs a change in the thread title, a little tricky with just 80 characters.

We just have to get people reading the first posts in threads ...

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
