This suggestion has been brought up here before but many years ago so it's time to revive it.
We need a dedicated recipe forum mainly for a place to share and store our favorite culinary creations without having to search through all of the other posts in the vastly populated "off topic" lounge.
For example, at this moment page 1 and 2 in the "off topic" lounge are posts just from today and yesterday so you can see how easy a recipe can be buried for eternity in a short period of time. For a shocking comparison, the entire "MARKETPLACE" section at this moment has 4,542,071 posts. The individual "off topic" lounge has 8,249,402 total posts, nearly twice as many as the "MARKETPLACE"! To do a search for a certain type of recipe in "off topic" might probably work but at the same time will also pull up a countless number of unrelated recipe topics with that same search word somewhere within its content.
There's a lot of talented "foodies" here that I'm sure would contribute into the new and secure dedicated recipe forum-if we had one.
