    Separate Threads Combined by someone

I have found my separate threads combined under one thread today. Would someone be kind and explain how and why that happened?

Is there a limit as to how many threads one person may post? I've read all the stickies but found no explanation for this.

I think a more detailed "Best Posting Practices" sticky would be useful for new members.

    Thank you in advance.

    Yes.

Multiple ammo calibers should all be listed under ONE listing.

    Same with multiple rifles/pistols

Thank you, sir. The more I know about the rules the better I can comply.

        Marketplace Rules

Limit your ads to one per Marketplace sub-forum.
When posting within these forums we require that you keep all items to one thread per sub-forum only. If you have multiple items to sell, we expect you to include all of them in one thread in the appropriate forum(s) - e.g. all handguns in one thread in Private Handguns Sales forum, etc. Members may only start one active thread per separate Marketplace forum.
'Active' is defined as 'Currently in use and being maintained', if you're bumping your thread it's active. After three calendar days without activity a thread will be deemed 'inactive' and you can create a new thread. If you wait several days and bump your thread it wil be considered active and any threads posted in the intervening time will be merged or deleted.

I may be a bit slow to pick up the nuances of the rules so please be patient with me.
According to what I've read so far if I have two long guns for sale I must list them under the same thread - so I did exactly that: the two rifles are listed in the same thread.
If there is anything else wrong with that thread will you please explain to me how I can correct it?
            Thank you in advance.
