Hello, I has some spent brass for sale or trade in (what I thought) was the proper place and now its deleted.

Can someone please tell me if I did some thing wrong or posted the thread in the wrong place?

Ok, I am new at this. Can do I ask someone to make me an offer or trade?

I am not trying to break any rules, just never posted anything here before.

you can post up a Want To Trade post in the WTT forum, but you can't post up a "make offer" post since that would/could be considered an auction posting.

either set it up as a WTT and list some possible trades (don't know if that is required, read the rules), or figure out what you think it is worth, and set a price on it. If it sells, cool. If not, price was too high so you either lower the price or cancell the add.

edit: my bad, I thought there was a separate WTT forum. Just list it in the proper sales forum and state that it is a WTT. And for pricing,

10) For Sale threads need to have a price listed, if you are unsure of what you want to ask for an item list a price you think is slightly higher than what you want to get and simply state, 'willing to negotiate'. You can also add 'OBO' (Or Best Offer) after your projected price. While this means you are willing to entertain offers it is NOT a license to auction, neither does it mean that it is acceptable to take a higher offer after you have agreed to a price and a deal.
