On other forums to deter scammers and otherwise malicious behavior, they have a minimum post count etc to start a thread selling something? I'm still relatively new here, just curious if this has been talked about before?

Yes. The consensus seems to be sellers/scammers would just post nonsense until they hit the count and start selling.

We get a few bad apples here, but not a lot.

Be careful when shipping is involved, if it sounds too good to be true, etc.

WTB ads seem to get more bad hits because they know you want something specific and will post fake pictures.

FTF transactions if any doubt.
