    Increase allowed attachment size

I keep forgetting the procedure that I use to attach photos to posts here on Calguns. First I take a photo with my iPhone, then I remember that the file size will be too large, then I shrink the photo and lower the quality, then I look at the photo and it looks terrible, then I go back to the original photo in Preview, then I try to remember how to export it as a PDF file so that it will fit but still look good, then I fail to remember how to do it and I get frustrated and then I just make a post without a photo, or I just decide not to post at all.

What's with the tiny attachment file size restrictions? It's 2019...buy a bigger server or whatever Calguns.

Upload your pic to a picture hosting site like photobucket. Then add the link to your post. You can post as big of a pic as you'd like then.

The attachment size restriction is because storage space costs money. This is a gun site, not a picture sharing site.

Another other way, which is also a hassle, is email the photo to yourself & select the large file option. Save it and upload that. It should fit and look OK.
