Suggestion for "New Posts"

I tried finding an existing thread on this topic, but struck out.

I use the "New Posts" view most often when browsing, but I am rarely interested in the marketplace items and I wish there was a way easily "hide" them when looking through new posts. I figure others probably feel the same about new posts on other sub-forums as well. I realize this is a non-issue, but thought with the transition to new software, maybe a change can be made.

Is there any interest in having the option to sort "new posts" by forum and by date/time?

This would allow the current default to remain as-is, but if someone wanted, they could choose to sort by forum.

I voted Bacon. I tried reporting the bug with the New Posts button a long time ago. Fell on deaf ears.

I think readysetgo had a similar post on this, but not certain if as part of new posts.

Some sort of exclusion of unwanted sub-forums by eliminating their code numbers.

I'll check for a bit.

You may want two shortcuts, one with all when you are in the mood, one abbreviated.

Had this feature on a different forum I was on. Liked it. Basically, the new posts button only showed forum sections you were subscribed to.
