    Multiple for-sale threads per forum

Just curious. Seems that the no-multiple-for-sale-threads-per-marketplace-forum rule is being flaunted ... so I'm assuming it's no longer being enforced? So is that to say those forums are now a free-for-all?

    AFAIK...

    It's being enforced.

If the ads are 72+ hours apart, then it's allowed.

Since mods are not on 24/7, if they are not reported, then detection and enforcement may be slow.

The misuse seems to be wide-spread and promiscuous. All one needs to do is browse thru the first 3-4 pages of the handgun for-sale forum to find at least half-a-dozen egregious violators (multiple, contiguous posts). Have started reporting ..... but it seems like a Sisyphusian task.

The enforcement of this rule is very weak IMO. Make me a mod in the sales forums only, I will rule with an iron fist.

            Responses like this don't help.

Thanks. I certainly appreciate you taking the time and energy to let me know that I’m out of compliance. It sounds like it’s important to you. Hopefully you feel better now.

I'm not the doofus who didn't read the "rules". Bite a rock.

I personally prefer to look thru ads with ONE item per post. Otherwise it can be confusing trying to decipher through unclear titles, description and prices. Not to mention getting thru the comments POSTED IN THE TREADS BY OTHER MEMBERS

Since trying to tackle enforcement about a week ago, noticed that majority of the multiple post offenders only post in the marketplace and their post counts are mostly "bump" type posts for their WTS ads.

Its all relative. I read tons of post. It doesn't mean I feel compelled to respond to all of them. For instance, I see hundreds of "Should've bought a Glock" post in threads that have nothing to do with Glocks. I'm a Beretta guy. Do I bump up my "post count" with "Should've bought a Beretta"? I'd like to think i have more of a life.
To be honest, until now i didn't know there was a "post count" haha

As far as multiple post go.. I get it, gotta follow the rules. I'll admit, I didn't read them thoroughly before

Some people do a good job of listing multiple items in one post. Others can't seem to do it well.

If posters "flout" the current rules, they can get away with "out advertising" those that follow the rules.......

I prefer the current rules. For me, it's easier to see a larger selection - if the poster does a decent job.If they don't, I cruise on by.... YMMV.......
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?
