Are the piracy/snake-oil Spammer's accounts deleted once detected?
Of course the post is deleted, but is the actual member username/account deleted? Just curious, as there looks to be a couple of dozen or more added EVERY DAY these past couple of years and is getting WORSE.
If that is not the case, pointing to the number of existing Calguns members for any particular purpose, which often comes up in discussions about voting, or in please to sing the Prop-63 petitions, it would give a false impression of just how much of strength in numbers Calguns could ever actually have.
Given that there ever only appears to be some 25,000 or so members active, getting the riff-raff and useless flotsam out of the way and off the "record" would seem to be an appropriate endeavor. Otherwise, the false numbers give a skewed impression of Calguns' potential influence.
I sometimes cite those numbers, but I wouldn't feel confident doing so if some 3 dozen "fake-members" or more are added every day for more than 2 years (or more) in time.
