    Commercial sales??

    Hi!

Are there plans to have like some sort of a small version of commercial sales sponsorship?

Like example.. I'm going to make 20-50 powder funnels or 10-20 small portable reloaders. Fees vs Riflegear or turners etc.

I'm just saying, what is the appriate way, when obviously not a one off private sale/happy medium?

Ask bigcalidave where the line is drawn.

We have plenty of people making things like broquets of flowers, sight installation and cutting boards, etc. that are not commercial sales.

        Good luck.

Or do it the Calguns way, just put it up for sale until you are reported.

Really, my rule is that anyone doing a business should be a paying vendor. If you are in business making money on our site, it's only fair to support the platform. I do offer lower cost plans for small vendors, but I don't really think we need yet another subforum.

The examples from Garv should probably be signed up as vendors as well, but I really can't look through millions of posts to find them all. Someone will eventually find them

bigcaldave: I had a post on "ammo and reloading" about my Hand Press and got flamed repeatedly for not being a vendor.

I tried to get someone to tell me how to do this with no luck.

Then finally the thread gotten deleted. Probably due to too much back and forth BS.

I might add that guys like Calguns77 aren't doing you guys any favors. He was essentially trying to run me off and I got sick of it and called him out.

All I was doing was talking about the tool which he was sure I stole from Huntingtons or Lee, and directing people to my website so they could look at it and buy it if they chose. I wasn't trying to sell anything here.

The market for a tool like mine is pretty limited. I have gotten a total of 7 sales off a magazine article in Handloader Mag in a month and a half.

Since only one guy showed any interest in the thing it isn't practical to become a full on vendor like an outfit like Midway or Mid South or Turners.

But not being able to find a direct link to where I could even sign up as one is the problem here. I looked everywhere in the top banner with no access to a place other than to sign up as a contributor to this site.

            Today thread is gone.

            So what do I do?

I'll talk to you more in email but really, I have posts in every commercial section, and there is a link that says "advertise on calguns" at the bottom of each page.

I has several advantages over the Lee Hand Press the main one being you don't need three hands to operate it, and it will sit on a table by itself.
It also has more leverage than the Lee and will easily F/L size .308's without wearing you out. I have done hundreds with it as .308 is one of my most used calibers.

It costs a bit more,,, Like 4X more,,, but it will last a lifetime easily. It is a quality tool made for people who like nice things.

If there's not enough interest to become a vendor why do you keep advertising here?
