    A thought regarding spam posts

Just a thought, and maybe it's been brought up before, but most of the spam posts I've seen list a lot of URLs in the first post. Is it possible to automatically block posts which contain an excessive number of URLs, like more than 3? Seems like it would stop many of them before they're started.

Or maybe prevent posting URLs until you have 5 or 10 posts under your belt.
In lieu of that, perhaps disable the URL and leave it as text until a certain number of posts. This would allow a new person to still post a URL but not have it embedded.
Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

      This.

Many new users post links to products or other forums asking advice.
I think posting the text is a good compromise.
