How to delete a post?

I accidentally posted something to the wrong forum but when I click on the edit/delete button all I get is the edit screen. I can't find a "delete button." How can I either delete a post or move it to a different forum? Thanks - JC

When you hit the edit button and it brings up the text box in the lower right corner you should see Advanced or go Advanced click that and you should be able to delete

You can delete a post of yours, you can not delete a thread of yours.

That's what I tried to do but I can't find anyplace on the "advanced" screen where there is a delete option.

I always just click on it to edit then delete everything and just type "deleted" in its place.

You can also use advanced edit to change the thread title to Mods. please move to XXXX location.

You can report yourself with the triangle at the corner of the post.

The software allows only moderators to delete the first post in a thread, because that deletes the whole thread.
