Shady buyer, could use advice...

Had a strange thing happen. Was trying to sell my remaining tin of 545, local sale only, all stated clearly in the ad.

Had an out-of-state buyer claim it even though it was clear I won't ship, then PM me how he's going to get it "later." When I tried calling him, Verizon says "invalid number," and I tried three times. Next I PM him my number asking for follow-up, but I received no text, and no calls. Checked VM all day.

This afternoon I received a rather nasty PM saying he still wants ammo. But that was it for me. With all the open border/ISIS stuff going on in the news I don't feel good selling ammo to someone I don't have a good feeling about. Outside my comfort zone.

So, I scratched the sale and just moved on. It happens, I know. No big deal.

Now, this obscure member with one feedback posts my personal information here on Calguns, which I'm uber-uncomfortable with.

I reported it to mods, waiting for a response now. Is there anything else I should do?

Looks like someone scrubbed his posts. I added him to my ignore list - don't need the drama and don't want to forget who he is and have him respond to one of my for sale ads.

I still have the negative fb, from a poster with just (1). My personal info is still there. Unbelievable.

I had a bad feeling when someone from northern Nevada says they intend to come all the way to SoCal for a tin of ammo they can mail order. What's wrong with this picture?

I also don't see any personal info, maybe he tried but only buyer and seller can see notes left with feedback.

I know it doesn't help now, but for the future:

Don't give out your real address, make a disposable free email, only use your first name, and pick up a free Google voice number(free text and even calls).

Wackadoos like the one OP is dealing with is exactly why I do the above when selling anything and dealing with strangers online.

Haven't had it happen yet but in case someone wants to go nuts they can have fun posting my gv number, the local fast food joints address(or in some cases the front leasing office address to my huge apartment complex), and my common first name all over the world. Can dump the gv number and get a new one in 5 minutes.

I don't screw people over so I haven't had anyone flip out in my 2 years of selling stuff, but it's just a matter of time until you run across a nutjob. C.Y.A.
