Do they kick puppies like they do at the Ontario store?

I have been to that Ammo Bros on Indiana next to the golf store. Typical Ammo Bros: friendly, greets with a smile, good prices and nice selection of firearms and ammunition. I have been in there several times and quite frankly we should see how long we can keep it a secret. Who wants to get down there and not have a place to park and when you finally DO make it inside you gotta wait an hour because they are so damn popular and friendly with everyone?
Come on now, shhhhh. Keep it on the D/L.

BTW, I applied at the Riverside store but they did not call me. They called some cute girl instead so I can not really fault them for not wanting a sausage fest in the store, but who knows, maybe they will look to get another one or two people in the future. Maybe then I can get that phone call...Last edited by stilly; 03-28-2015, 2:59 PM.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

I was in there last week. Store is nice, gun counter is as big as Cerritos, but much smaller overall. Nice to have more options in the area.
Parking is really tight though... sales are gonna be a ***** to get in and out of."To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them" - Richard Henry Lee

Parking expansion would really be nice. Yall should buy the golf store and then make it into a parking lot. Okay, well maybe HALF of it into a parking lot, the other half as a launchpad/driving range over the freeway...
Is the Riverside store still looking for people or are they done hiring? I think I was a bit late putting in my application now that I need to find another job I noticed that I should have been about a week faster.7 Billion people on the planet. Well by all means you should get an interview before me. You might have more in the line of firearms and knowledge to offer them. I am more of a reloader who likes to make pretty pills... Oh, and I will **** yo **** up on a computer...
You know, that is one thing that Ammo Bros should do, is get a freaking RELOADING section, a REAL one in one of their stores. Many LGS over in the IE do not give a rat's *** about reloaders. They buy a few things but they do not know what they are getting. They just buy things based on requests or what not.
When I was working at Bullseye I tried to get them to get more reloading components and better equipment in the store. It started to work a bit, they ordered 36k X-treme plated bullets of various weights and calibers but the profit margin was not big enough for retail so that was the end of that.
Oh well. Makes me want to open my own store and draw all of the reloaders to it. We will buy brass from Riverside Magnum Range, cross promote and order bulk powder by the boatloads and keep bullets, pills and primers as well as one of just about EVERY reloading machine on display. Every current book too.
Heck, if Ammo Bros maybe did like two presses from Redding, four from RCBS, three from Lee, three from Dillon, two from Hornady, two from Lyman and maybe had an old hollywood or two for antique's sake and mounted them all on a table in a corner or open space, even THAT could go a long way to show folks about reloading and maybe even drum up more sales.
No store around here has anything close to that with the exception of Rancho Cucamonga bASS Pro Shop. And they suck, but they have several presses for people to see.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...
