Too many notifications

I constantly get 10-20 notifications every day, supposedly replying to a post or thread I posted some time ago. Mostly, I don't recognize the thread/post.
So, how can I stop these irrelevant notifications, while still being able to get legitimate notifications??

when you get to 9000, it just breaks and you can no longer open them.

Uncheck the 'subscribe when posting' box and select your desired preferences otherwise from the drop down menu and then click "Save Changes" at lower right of page. Then experiment to get what you want.

ETA, I can share that, with the screenshot showing my personal account settings, I get no anomalous or any other notifications from Calguns. Zippo
