    Log In Issue

Since this system is back up and running it now takes me two separate times to log in with my User Name and Password? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

You mean the first one fails or are you logged in, then click somewhere else and are prompted to log in again?

Some links fail the login cookie/session read for some reason and prompt a login screen to appear. Usually, backtracking or clicking another bookmark fixes it. I run CG specifically on a browser that doesn't shield or block the web site in any way so get the full treatment of whatever it sends.

Usually, but not always, clicking on the main thread link, not the 'newest posts' or 'last post' icon for that thread, does not trigger the problem. The latter two methods sometimes, but not always, do. It's a commonality I've seen since during the time the forum was offline for much of the day since I'm one of the 'survivors' who was here every day during that time.

Since it appears admin is transitioning the site to Xenforo from vBulletin, I doubt this problem will get fixed.

It seems after I log in the site needs me to log in again. Thanks for all the replies. I'll keep working on it.
