    Getting logged out

I'm getting logged out while scrolling. I will be logged in and read a post or two, scroll to the next forum and be logged out. I'll have to log back in manully. I think that it's happened three times in the last couple of months. It's never when I first get on the boards, it happens in the middle of a session.

It just happened twice in the last ten minutes.

I just got to this site accidentally. WTF
Have not been able to log in for months.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Do you mean you're logged in, read a bit on a post or page, then click a link to go elsewhere and the page appears but shows you're not logged in?

If so, I've had that happen. What's odd is, if I go "back", I'm logged in again. I can then usually go somewhere else without issue.

That's exactly it. I didn't know that hitting the back button could correct it. It's probably logged me out much more than I think and I just didn't notice it because the "back" button corrected it.

The problem IME seems more persistent when page loading delays and function errors occur, as they are right now. I usually can correct it by clicking on the old bookmark I always use to access the forum. However, that only corrects the login cookie reading error, not the page or function delays.

This morning has been particularly error prone, though right now has been the worst of it. No 504's but sometimes 30-40 second delays.

                Oops, spoke too soon...

i'm noticing the logging cookie reading problem more now, and consistently when clicking on the 'latest posts' or 'last post' icons for a particular thread.

Going back to the forum thread view and clicking on the main thread title link usually solves the problem but that negates the benefit of being able to skip what one has already read.

                    ^^^
Clicking on the maim thread the last few times is hit and miss, mostly miss. Prior, just click "back" doesn't always work now.

As example of the variability, I just clicked on the 'last post' icon in this thread and my account credentials loaded correctly at the top of the page. Sometimes that fails on threads that don't require being logged in to read, like in this forum.
