That is a tough one.
I actually only have one other CalGunner that I shoot/talk with.
Suspect I would post about him or vice-versa.
Have not really thought about it.
Not a big OT contributor so my "online friendship" is very minimal.

Well based on how often the forum works to notify us . . . . I would have your next of kin just hang a banner above the 405 (for So Cal Guys) and above the 101 or 280 for us Nor Cal guys. Feel free to have them remove any "WOKE" banners already hanging there.

I imagine that when I kick off the only folks that will get notified is any existing family and the med school that will get the old carcass.

When I kick the bucket, I plan on coming back to life intermittently just like this site. That way, I can piss off all my friends and family only early in the morning, or late in the evening.

My doner place said I am too far away. Guess they want fresh meat. So I am being cremated locally in LV and will reside in my lawyers office. Apparently I will not be alone.

I have handled several estates. In a few cases I posted as if I was the decedent that I had died. The rest live on forever.

I seriously doubt that website owners want to deal with death notices and the verification necessary to confirm the validity of the claim. Eventually, accounts become inactive and die on their own.

Give your estate handler your login/password and/or recovery e-mail login. They can login as 'you' one more time and make an announcement in the 'Calgunners Who Have Passed' thread in the OT forum. After that have them send a PM to Kes telling him to change the status of your account to "Passed On".
