i've been trying to reach one of the site administrators for an account issue with absolutely NO SUCCESS,,,NOT EVEN A RESPONSE????? are others having trouble getting the admins to respond and resolve issues ????

i'm not sure CGN has anymore administrators or anyone left who can fix anything. I think most of those resources left and probably went to other forums/sites. a true shame as CGN used to be a really good resource. I also notice that this site goes down on a fairly regular basis now for no apparent reason......either that or the administrators and kestryl just don't care anymore.....hopefully i am wrong....

i think that CGN is going bankrupt as it usually is 'down' during the day and throughout the night. Very poor customer service. a real shame as it used to be a useful site. none of the administrator seem to care, or what is more realistic, all the administrators have left and only kestryl is left and he doesn't bother to monitor the site, but does periodically check it when it goes down for a few days.....

We've been left out in the cold. The site has been screwed up for a year or two. Sometimes it works better than others. Ain't got nowhere else to go, I certainly am not going to that dumbass racoon site.

What you term 'administrators' is a bit misleading. I believe Kestryll has been the only 'administrator' for a number of years. What we used to have was 'moderators' who were active. They had certain powers, but weren't the 'equal' of Kestryll in many respects. Now, with the current technical problems, we've been told that the moderators' board which allows for additional powers has been impacted, limiting their ability to moderate.

When you say you think .net is 'going bankrupt,' again, you're presenting what many feel is a misleading thought. The periods that the site is 'down' appear to rotate for most, while for some, they appear to be the result of 'work being done,' and, for others, they appear to be 'metered' in terms of limiting the data in a specific time frame, likely due to the new hosting service Kestryll was forced to move the site to due to the long-time host going out of business (which is what also forced the technical and long warned about problems on the site).

What you term 'Kestryll not bothering to monitor the site' is very misleading. While the following is something becoming a bit dated, we were informed that he'd brought in a team who is voluntarily working on fixes. Whether that still holds true is something that is debated, with few, if any, actually knowing with any certainty. We do know that a limited amount of moderation still occurs. Likewise, we also know that Kestryll's last "Last Activity" date was 4/22/25, which is found on his site profile page. Thus, not "all the administrators" (as you term them) have left.

Simply because a given site is not available at a given user's convenience and/or is sporadically unavailable doesn't automatically mean what you are claiming it does. Does it (still) mean what we've been told? That's up to the individual user to decide; but, not necessarily to pronounce as a definitive.
