    Cancel contributor subscription?

How does one cancel it? The subscription page doesn't have an option to and PayPal, who it's set up through, says to use directions found on Calguns but I'm not finding them.

I can't get the PM system to work, and I'm tired of waiting 5 minutes to get an error on 90% of the pages I try to look at. This place used to be great, but has been unusable for the past year and the latest double secret extra upgrade didn't work. I'm all for paying subscription fees for when it works again, but... 🤔

I hope Kes gets it fogured out. This place used to be, and could be again, rad.

AFAIK, it’s not a subscription but rather a donation to the site… hence “contribution”.

No gun to anyone’s head to peruse CalGuns. Close the page and check back in the future if you’re so inclined.

Click on the "Become a Contributor" link near the top of the page. After several minutes of waiting, you'll see a page with several "Subscription" options come up.

It's an annual recurring payment that has been auto charged for many many years. I became a contributor at the beginning when it was an option to do so. There is no option to turn it off that I can find. I would not like to be charged for it again, with the website in its current unusable form. I hope that Paul gets it up and running again and will gladly return as a contributor if and when he does, but at this point I no longer wish to have the automatic donation taken off of my credit card for a service that I can only use at 5 in the morning and even then is unreliable.

When does your annual contribution happen?

If it's going to happen soon, closing your paypal account is probably your best option at this point.

I don't want you to terminate your paypal account.
          1. go to https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/preferences/payments
          2. Scroll to the bottom 'Automatic Payments'
          3. Click Active and find Calguns and click remove Payment method
            1. This will require the site to reauthorize the payment
            2. Nothing happens
            3. Should now be in inactive status.
            4. you'll see every account that has your paypal linked up to it.

Found it. Thank you sir. Maybe I'll motor my way towards your site and check it out, since this one has taken me several weeks to be able to post 5 comments.
