Running as slow as it was last year before any of the "upgrades" or "moves" ugh

This site is completely unusable now. Not sure why the owners wouldn't hand it off to someone more qualified to deal with or go with a hosted solution of vBulletin.

Very hard to use. Half of the time you can not login. When you do it is very slow.

they tried a hosted solution of vBulletin. It sucked even worse. Where have you been?

Here is the bottom line: vBulletin sucks. It is over. The programmers ruined it. They took a perfectly good forum platform and ruined because "progress".

Stick a fork in it. Nothing is going to save this. Even if it was working 24x7 it would still suck, no one wants to use this. If I tried to make a sucky forum software on purpose, I could not do better than this.

Vbulletin may suck, no argument, but whatever the "solution" that CA Guns is attempting isn't working and if something isn't fixed soon the site won't ever recover - personal opinion.

I'd vote to crowd source a solution with those of us that work in the business - 25+ years experience here and I am sure there are plenty of others with similar experience. For a lot of us calguns has been our social media for years, it's a shame it's got to this state with no solution in sight.

this site should be raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. there are 2528 users online on a random friday freaking night.
