So true. On a lesser important observation, this "reply" section is missing a "Strike Through" option. Seldom used but has its uses. Also just past the "Horizontal Line" widget that you can not see are "[YOUTUBE], the missing Strike, [VIMEO], and [PDF] widgets.

Note: In order to get the "strike to actually work I had to remove the original brackets.

Nothing major, just another tidbit of info.

Agree with a lot of what is said here and elsewhere. On the other hand, it is hard for old dogs to learn new tricks. Then again, old dogs do what old dogs need to do.

Amen! Try snipershide. Same as calguns without sucking ***. So easy to use, I can't figure out why this website has been a disaster for 9 months

Vb6 is the only saving grace... without it, the place was a loss (to me)...

It's intuitive 'enough' to have the same 'successful' feel as vintage .net ...

The only annoying issue that continues - is extreme lag in message load (the drop-down feature at top of page)... I can live without it, but my ocd won't allow me to let a red circle with 'messages' just sit there... It's not for inbox messages, it's just new subscribed post notifications ... but the extrmem lag in loading has me leaving it sit there - annoying.

I find myself clicking it, then opening new tab and doing things like (posting this)... then go back when the page loads... same thing we did when vintage .net lagged senselessly ... maybe it's a feature not a bug - a clever reminder of the 'old days'

I'm liking the new forums the more I use it.
It's fun digging around in the user settings and seeing all the new things it has.

But yeah, search is kind of a pain though. I'm sure Kes will work it out.
