While I have no firsthand knowledge of his situation, it is still conceivable that he might have been visited by someone from the DOJ and threatened with lawfare like trump has endured, been given the classic choice between silver and lead, or been otherwise manipulated into inaction as well as a gag order on the situation.

It is not outside the realm of possibility.

Edit: Making a website work in 2024 is not rocket science. Kes is not new to being a system admin. This situation is so unusual that my mind starts looking for other explanations, which is on topic for this thread.

There was a thread with somehow the deep coding was corrupted by Iranian actors you could see the writing in Arabic style cursive.

I remember seeing that script that he posted. I don't readily accept that it was from Iranian actors, although I don't have first hand knowledge.

The feds are expert at creating computer hacks that appear to be from their enemies.

I don't think the Iranians care one bit about a gun website in California. The feds do.
