If a majority of your posts were "bump" or in your case BTT - then this is a normal cleanup. You need to be cleaning up your own posts if they are just "bump". There should never be more than one BUMP post in any marketplace listing.

And from what I can see in Google cache, that is probably the reason.

You only had 178 posts on 5/3. So you were not doing it that bad. There was another guy who had several thousands of bump posts removed.

You are probably only 15 quality posts away from removing the "junior" tag. But if you become a contributor you can change your own member status (hint hint )

Mods knocked down your post count, likely because your posts were useless. The lower post count knocked down your status. Nobody cares so don't worry about it. Consider contributing posts outside of the marketplace (and off-topic, which don't contribute to your post count anyway) subs as others have mentioned.

If you're mainly interested in the marketplace then maybe you should think about really focusing on getting as many positive i-trader ratings as possible.

Then you can always explain to the buyer or seller that you don't have time to post in the forum but if they can look at your I trader rating and see that you've done many successful deals, and hopefully both buying and selling, I think that would go a long way to proving you're a solid person to deal with.

WTS/WTB ads that end up being closed due to the item being transacted or the ad being closed due to inactivity will get merged and cleaned up. The clean up process will result in the all unnecessary posts in the ad being deleted.
This is done to prevent members from necroposting on concluded or inactive ads.

WTS/WTB ads with a large amount of posts are also an indicator that the ad may be inactive or it was necroposted, so it may be cleaned up to so that only the active posts remain. Posts that are older than 72 hours may be treated as inactive and cleaned up.

So my post count was deleted by 1,500 posts why? I remember the MOD who did it but what is the reason I have received no answer seems that it happens to some of us who maybe our opinions are not warranted we are not contributors: I can see deleting old messages but peoples post count?

With almost 200 buy/sell messages in the Marketplace, how come you're not a Contributor? I know it's expensive at around $2.50 per month.

I've never paid attention to mine, so wouldn't know if I lost any...

I don't pay attention to most others' either, unless they post something peculiar and have single digit post count.

Is there any particular reason you are concerned?

Going based off your posts (most recent ones are all in MP), some of your older threads were cleaned up and closed (deleted bumps).

Other cases are threads moved to OT or nuked.
