In this case you have 'start bold' without the corresponding (/b] 'stop bold'

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

BTW, Frank - please do not start a new thread to sell the same gun; I just merged 3.

Instead, post a 'Reply' in the existing thread with any text at all, traditionally "bump".

Bold

In the last line of your post put at the end.
In the first line of your post put at the beginning.

You must have both, in the correct order because one starts the bold command and the other finishes it.

Now that you know you can... have you stopped to think if you should? I think a post that is entirely in bold is just as obnoxious as one that is ENTIRELY IN CAPS.

Are you referring to a bold title or bold text within the post?

The the software sets the title to UNREAD posts in BOLD.

If you post, you have already read that thread, so for you the title will not be bolded.

Thread titles are shown in bold type if you have not yet read a new post in that thread.

Having posted the thread yourself, the software believes you have read it. Other people will see your thread title as bold until they, too, read the thread.

Seemed like a BOLD ask.
Your thread was bolded before I clicked. Librarian summed it up nicely.
